Khajagar

Free, Static QR-Code Digital Menu

A free, static QR-code menu for restaurants, built in my own time as a concept project, taking a common restaurant problem and turning it into a lean, reusable solution. No server, no database, and no hosting cost, the entire menu is a single JSON file, editable by anyone and deployed automatically through GitHub Pages. Customers scan a table QR code and the searchable menu opens instantly in their phone browser, no app required.

Why Build a QR Menu This Lean

Most digital menu products charge a monthly subscription for something this simple. Khajagar is built lean on purpose as a concept, so it stays fast, reliable, and free to run, and the same core could be customized and re-skinned for a restaurant, cafe, or lounge in a day.

Zero Recurring Cost

No server, no database, no monthly SaaS bill. It runs entirely as static files, so hosting is permanently free.

Instant, Reliable Load Times

No backend to query and no database round-trip. The menu is plain HTML/CSS/JS, so it opens instantly even on slow restaurant wifi.

Update the Menu in Seconds

Change a price or add a dish by editing one JSON file and pushing. No code changes, no developer needed for day-to-day edits.

Zero Friction for Customers

No app download, no account, no login. Scan the table QR code and the searchable menu opens straight in the browser.

Built to Be Rebranded

Colors, categories, and layout are fully customizable per restaurant, so the same lean foundation can be re-skinned for any brand.

Nothing to Break

No server to crash, no database to corrupt, and no third-party platform that can raise prices or shut down. It just keeps working.
